Difficult jobs
The most difficult part of my branding consultancy project was informing the highest grade of management about his lower managers. They were not enough qualified to play leadership roles. Many of them were great managers for very small parts of system and it was far from our great expectations! I began tell them about a branding project managers. Now I'm publishing a paper about this matter and I will do any necessery job to inform them which they should grow.

A successfull Brand
A successfull Brand can not be a system base on a few peoples. If the system you want to develope is a system which just work based on their highest managers, you are far from a branding plan. For the first step, design the system, design the chart. share responsibilities. Give peoples their opportunities. Change management with leadership and let staff to talk about everything. Something is growing....listen...

Branding is acting straight and clear
Do you want grow a branding position? Grow the peoples of company from somewhere they are to a higher position. Grow they ideals, develope their knoledge and widen their insight. Sometimes change them to right persons and sometimes change the whole system if it is basically a mistake! Be brave to do the best if it is the close to madness, But be aware, never cross the boundry. Think sharp and act clear. Tell your peoples what exactly you want. Talk to them about your aims and youe expectations clearly.

peoples problem
When people ask me for their branding growth, I always ask myself: "Who is he?" and: "Can I estimate his growth potential?" but this is not the end. Many managers say: "Just tell me what should I do for this growth." and when you say, they have great reasons for why they can not or should not do what you say. You know why? Branding begins with internal changes.
They think you will say what they know and what they want to do. They think you will say just do these steps one by one and after the last step you can see your company at the highest position of something. Instead when you say: "Let us to grow your ideas, believes and styles" then you make them upset. Because they want say you: "there is nothing wrong in me. do your job and get out of my office." Changes bother peoples who are not ready for branding growth.
Now I'm fighting. Many peoples there are in any existing system who are not ready for changes. Many of them are managers and many other from staff which should help you in this growth, and... they do not!

Problems, problems and problems
Problems are growing. Many guys plan them regularely and some make them with their non responsible activities. I asked for 2 computers. After one month non of them is ready. Many many many problems there are in the system. Who care? I should do all them my self.

New proccess does't mean loosing job opportunities
For the next step we checked the existing design. Part by part, all items checked in detai. then we inform managers about some highlights. They asked us soloutions and we provide them some fast and some basic soloutions during next weeks. The main point was: The main problem appears in modeling. If handy modeling changes into digital modeling many problems disapear. It was not so far to be killed by modeling peoples. Many guys from production to management relaod their shotguns and came to me with their friendly smiles. Now I'm handling the case, describing them about my idea and my try to make their job easier and more accurate. They think I came to take their job opportunities. Oh shit, what should I do then?

Design for Branding 1
Design begins from inside. When you undrestand the worth of your ideas. Ideas make values. Then work out to immplement the values into the system. Branding is not a show off.
We had an Idea. What we produce is much more than porcelain it's jewlary. Then we start to believe what we said. It's jewlary...! Then at the first opportunity when we wanted to start oyr next show room we remember our idea and we designed the showroom as we design a jewlary shop. Wow, the result wass great. I asked managers to accept we should pay for our idea and strangely they said ok. Now that show room is working. We sale our jewlariees.

1st step
We began with peoples. We were looking for young designers. I think branding needs designers. They used to think different. I asked company for two indipendent offices. One in the factory with designers who are learning about manufacturing process and management requests and one outside with designers who provide conceptual ideas and make basic researchs. After long long arguments company accepted and at the time being I got it. Both offices are active and are doing different projects.

A real case study
At the time being I'm working for a porcelain manufacturing company. The subject of our contract shows I should develope a design center for product and packaging designs and any needed design cunsultancies. The main brief is much more wider. We are looking for companies brand. We think the position of our products can rise in the market and our competitors must feel much harder competition against us. I will talk about our plans in the next messages.
